Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Ladies Home (OLMC)

The usual search for a truly safe place to stay often ends you up in a dump, or worse, in the middle of a nightmare! 

Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Ladies Home-Dormitory (OLMC) provides total safety, security, convenience, class and comfort to our lady residents and transients, right at the heart of the Manila University Belt.  (WE ARE ONLY A BLOCK AWAY FROM UST MANILA.  The UST College of Accountancy is particularly very very near OLMC.)

OLMC is truly the perfect place for lady students and reviewees!!!  Many of our former reviewees who have passed the board exams consider OLMC as a super lucky dorm and have continued staying on.  It is also a very good choice for lady transients on a short visit to Manila. 

We provide dormitory and transient services strictly for ladies only. All our studios and rooms are brand new and fully furnished with own separate toilet, bathroom, study room cum dining and living room complete with pantry, kitchen cupboard and sink. We provide solo rooms as well as shared rooms both non-airconditioned and airconditioned. All airconditioners are brand new. Loft beds provided were all finecrafted by very skilled Pampango craftsmen using purely aged Philippine tanguile wood. Our water system provides strong high pressured clean water through stainless water tanks and pest-proof water cistern.

To ensure the total safety and security of all residents, House Rules are strictly implemented.  These include logging-in of all visitors and guests of residents and requiring them to sign and leave their government IDs while within the premises.  House Rules and state-of-the-art technologies on fire safety and crime detection and prevention are also strictly in effect and enforced at all times.

 The building is entirely made of strong concrete fire proof and earth quake resistant materials buttressed by a very sound and strong building foundation with all facilities, rooms and electricals designed and built by reputable professional construction companies, foremost among which is the Pampanga Block Builders, Inc.  The building is likewise furnished with more than adequate fire exits at every floor and fire hydrants and fire extinguishers near the entrance of every room.  All windows in all rooms are protected by tough iron grills.  Entrance doors are secured by tough iron gates and grills.  More than that, this building is secured by electronic door lock with individualized proximity card readers and infra-red CCTV cameras strategically located both inside and outside the building and in all points of entry, hallways, stairways, parking areas and fire exits.  The State-of-the-art Surveilance, Safety and Security Systems were professionally designed and installed by Ret. Cmdr. Joeroy Angel S. Mendoza, GSC.

These are just some of the reasons why a parent or a spouse can have peace of mind, knowing that the loved one is truly and absolutely safe.  OLMC management cares for its residents like family, hence, will even provide at no cost the discrete monitoring of a  daughter upon her parent's written request.

We are located at the corner of two very wide, uncrowded and very accessible roads, namely:  Mendoza Avenue and Concepcion Street where free parking slots fronting both roads are provided.  We are just walking distance to UST, Royal Pentagon Review Center, SM San Lazaro and Convergys San Lazaro E-Services Building.  The neighborhood is very friendly, very peaceful and the place is very quiet, hence very conducive to studying.  Thus making it the ideal place for students, reviewees and examinees.  Because of its classy facilities and strategic location, it is also the ideal place to stay when visiting Manila.

More newly constructed solo rooms are now available for occupancy.  These new rooms are fully furnished with brand new airconditioners, own toilet and bath, pantry complete with cupboard and kitchen sink, closet and study area.  These rooms are wired and ready for cable TV, internet and landline phone connections.  (This means that residents and transients can enjoy one hundred twenty channels from Global Destiny Cable TV right away by simply plugging in and turning on their TV set!)  These rooms are very classy, even its doors (including the bath room door) are finecrafted from "yakal", a Philippine hardwood.  Introductory rates for these rooms are as low as P6,000 to P9,600 per month depending on room size!  Reservations are now being accepted on a FIRST COME, FIRST PRIORITY BASIS.

A newly constructed, totally brand new lobby complete with reception area, a living room with widescreen cable TV, an internet room with high-speed internet connection and a very cozy study room, all designed by Architect Jun Astoveza and Interior Designer Chai Astoveza, are already available for the free use of all residents and transients !!!

OLMC provides value meals at P35.00 only for residents and transients!!!  These value meals are nutritious and delicious exactly like home-made meals!!!  For your convenience, OLMC Building also has popular franchise foodcarts where you can have your favorite foods such as burgers, siopao, ice scramble, fried noodles, rice toppings, etc. You can have your meals at the dining area where you can watch your favorite show while eating or if you are in a hurry, it will be given to you conveniently packed and ready to go.

THAT IS WHY WE ONLY REQUIRE ONE MONTH SECURITY DEPOSIT AND OUR ROOM RATES ALREADY INCLUDE FREE WATER AND ELECTRICITY.

LIKE OUR MONTHLY RENTAL RATES, OUR DAILY TRANSIENT RATES ARE ALSO VERY VERY CHEAP.

YET ALL OUR ROOMS AND ALL FACILITIES ARE BRAND NEW AND VERY CLASSY!!!

OLMC IS ABSOLUTELY SAFE AND NO NEED TO WORRY ABOUT SECURITY, FIRE AND EARTHQUAKE!!!
